Delivery Service

We provide delivery within the local area with our own closed truck. The delivery area is outlined by the shaded area on the map and roughly extends from Seattle's Northern Suburbs South to Tacoma, goes East to North Bend and West, across the Sound to include Bainbridge Island and Vashon Island. Delivery charges are based on distance from the store and are on a load rather than an individual item basis. We deliver your case right to the room where you want it to stand.

Installation

Larger bookcases may require some installation beyond delivery. Our team installs what we build. Installation may involve: scribing to side walls, fitting to the ceiling, locating studs and attaching the case to the wall, cutting for outlets and vents. Installation charges are figured at the time of the quote.

Shipping

Our bookcases do not come in a box, therefore shipping is easiest for the smaller bookcases and CD cases. All of our standard CD case sizes fit the UPS 130" requirement, so they conveniently ship UPS, we do the packaging. For Bookcases which are too large for FedEx (150") shipping requires crating and then truck freight to most of the US or barge freight to Alaska. The cost is often prohibitive, as the pricing is based on minimum weight requirements, typically for a piece of furniture to be trucked anywhere the minimum is $200.
